Last week I shared Part One of Natalie’s Senior Portraits. Today I’m going to share the second part. I had so much fun shooting these night shots!
I am an NYC based lifestyle photographer with a passion for people and fun, edgy, editorial style photography. I love to laugh at myself, see others smile, and have the most fun humanly possible. I love the feeling I give to my clients when they see themselves in my photographs.
I'm a southern boy living my dreams in NYC with my beautiful wife and our dog, Lola. I love sweet tea, fall is my favorite season, my favorite musician is a toss up between Ray Lamontagne, James Morrison & Eric Hutchinson, and my favorite soundtrack is from the movie "Across the Universe". I have an intense love for photography and learning more about the art everyday. I am currently a student at the International Center of Photography, and in my free time, I enjoy attending workshops lead by other passionate photographers.
This is an online journal that follows my life as a photographer, husband & friend. I would love for you to join me in the journey...so feel free to take a look around, or leave a comment.
Thanks & God Bless,
Natalie came to NYC for a quick trip filled with shopping, shopping, and a little more shopping. It was so much fun to walk around the city and catch up with natalie. You might remember her from this post where we rocked it out in the soggy louisiana weather. That shot in the retro rv is still one of my favorite images ever.
Stay tuned for part two of this shoot later this week.
Talk about good times….I met KT & Melissa in NOLA when I was down last month to shoot their senior session. It was fun to shoot two best friends at once. While one was in front of the camera, the other was behind me making jokes and helping me get a few laughs.
KT & Melissa: I had so much fun hanging with you two in New Orleans, you guys were a blast!
I think the HIGHLIGHT of the day was when I convinced Melissa to pose with the gold mime. Before she went up to him, I told her to pose like him and maybe pretend that she was going in for a kiss on the cheek. Melissa got a little more than she bargained for when the nice mime suddenly turned his face and got a little smooch. Her reaction was PRICELESS!
At the end of the session, we were starting to lose light and I asked them what was one of their favorite things to do. They both said EAT. So we pulled up to one of the classiest Popeyes Fried Chicken joints I’ve ever seen…I’m loving the last one of Melissa!
Last week I showed you part one of the senior sessions I took a few weeks back. Today, I’m bringing you part two with Jacy. We shot all over Baton Rouge, and had so much fun during the shoot. Sure, it got a little cloudy which then dropped the temperature pretty quickly, but Jacy was great and was brave enough to run through the FREEZING fountain.
Part three with KT & Melissa is coming soon!
I was so excited to work with six seniors while on my trip to Louisiana. Tonight is Jr./Sr. Prom so I wanted to post this video for you guys just before you head out the door.OH the days of prom filled with paparazzi mothers, stretch limousines, celebrating the year with friends, and then celebrating more at after prom parties. Have fun you guys!

Are all of your presents are opened, crumpled wrapping paper all over the place, stuffed from the meal(s) today and still wanting a little more? Here is a nice gift from ME to YOU….A little Sneak Peek at Hollie’s Senior Session shot last week in Kentwood while I was home in Louisiana! Enjoy & MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I had so much fun shooting Hollie’s Senior Session. Hollie’s family was the first family we met when moving to Louisiana & her dad convinced us to choose Amite (good choice mom and dad), so we go way back. I can’t believe she is a senior and will be graduating soon! I’m looking forward to my trip back in March to shoot some more senior sessions and part two for Hollie!
WOW! What a shoot! I met up with Natalie on the Saturday morning of my trip to Louisiana after shooting the sharp’s family session. It was a bit of a weird morning for Louisiana standards, with the snow that fell the night before melting at a rapid pace. The ground turned it to a mushy mess, but Natalie completely rocked the session with her fun style & multiple wardrobe changes! Natalie, I had so much fun climbing through old school buses, getting almost stuck in the mud, & sanitizing our hands every five seconds!
