TRENT BAILEY PHOTOGRAPHY | NYC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER WHO BRINGS A VINTAGE EDITORIAL STYLE TO NEW YORK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY bio picture

Trent Bailey Photography {The Blog}

I am an NYC based lifestyle photographer with a passion for people and fun, edgy, editorial style photography.  I love to laugh at myself, see others smile, and have the most fun humanly possible.  I love the feeling I give to my clients when they see themselves in my photographs.

I'm a southern boy living my dreams in NYC with my beautiful wife and our dog, Lola.  I love sweet tea, fall is my favorite season, my favorite musician is a toss up between Ray Lamontagne, James Morrison & Eric Hutchinson, and my favorite soundtrack is from the movie "Across the Universe".  I have an intense love for photography and learning more about the art everyday.  I am currently a student at the International Center of Photography, and in my free time, I enjoy attending workshops lead by other passionate photographers.

This is an online journal that follows my life as a photographer, husband & friend.  I would love for you to join me in the journey...so feel free to take a look around, or leave a comment.

Thanks & God Bless,

Here is a teaser of two of the great pieces!

The image above of Bonnie crawling on the ground is not a posed picture at all.  I was going to do a ring shot of her BEAUTIFUL wedding bands and they slipped out of  her hand when she took them off.  We had a good laugh about it while we were sifting through the tall grass and then eventually had to call in for a metal detector.  But we found the rings, well after the sun went down.

While waiting on the metal detector to arrive we had a little fun with off camera lighting and these beautiful parasols.  They are perfect for any outdoor wedding or as a fun prop to have on a shoot.  The wonderful Kristin at I Do Originals hooked us up with this hand painted LOVE parasol.  The sun was pretty much GONE after the ring debacle but I love the look that I was able to achieve with the off camera lights.  What do you think?
